- Quick Reference Guide
This evaluation board demonstrates the capability of the MC06XS3517 as a 12 V dual high side switch product with integrated control and a high number of protective and diagnostic functions. It has been designed for truck, bus, and light automotive applications. Control, device configuration, and diagnostics are performed through a 16-bit SPI interface, allowing easy integration into existing applications.
The MC06XS3517 is designed for low-voltage automotive and industrial lighting applications. It is a five low RDS (ON) MOSFETs can control the high sides of five separate resistive loads (bulbs, Xenon-HID modules and LEDs). Programming, control, and diagnostics are accomplished using a 16-bit serial peripheral interface (SPI) (3.3 V or 5.0 V). Each output has its own PWM control via the SPI. The MC06XS3517 has highly sophisticated failure mode handling to provide high availability of the outputs. Its multi-phase control and output edge shaping improves electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) behavior.
